The course of topographic recording

The course of topographic recording was held in ZEC Speleo house from 11th till 13th of September.

It was intended for speleologists with or without previous knowledge in topographic recording and drafting speleological objects, and croatian and slovenian speleological community was invited to attend.

Matej Mirkac was the course leader ( from Speleological Society “Pula”), a the expert leader was Zlatko Balaš (Speleological Society „Karlovac“)

The course was held like previously intended by program with two additional lectures by Vlado Božac (Speleological section of Croatian Mountaineering Association): „Development of drawing and measuring in speleology“ and „The development of speleological drafting“.

The instructors and lecturers at the course were:

• Željko Baćurin (SD "Karlovac")

• Zlatko Balaš (SD "Karlovac")

• Vlado Božić (SO HPD "Željezničar")

• Antonio Mihalić (SD "Karlovac")

• Matej Mirkac (SU "Pula")

• Tin Rožman (SD "Karlovac")

• Neven Šuica (SK "Ursus Spelaeus")

The course consisted of theoretical part, which was held in Speleo house, and practical which took place in vicinity of the House and in Cave Maćeha near Lanišće.

In total, 33 participants (from 11 croatian and one slovenian speleological society) successfully completed the development of a draft and learned a lot about the topographic recording.
