Cub and junior scouts („poletarci“ and „pčelice“) earned skill badges in Vodice

A small group of cubs and junior scouts of Scouts squad „Istria“ from Pula, along with guests from Buzet, visited the Science and education center Speleo House in Vodice from 24th till 28th of June 2015.

During their stay they performed various scout duties, like flag ceremonies, building tent, patrol meetings, bed checks, etc.

The program had interesting activities that led to earning skill badges: Naturalist, Robinson and Mowgli. They accomplished it by discussing about protecting nature, forests, plants and animals, protection against fire, local birds and other animals of Ćićarija region, and also the technique of making herbarium.

The greatest challenge was passing the 15 kilometers skill, and all participants, from first grader to the squad leaders, walked from Vodice to Trstenik puddle and back. At the end of colony all scouts earned their skill badges with pride.

The colony finished with flag lowering ceremony.
